Alsace
Located in northeastern France, bordering both Germany and Switzerland, Alsace is a producer of primarily of white wine as it takes up 90% of the regions total production. 74% of wines produced fall under the Alsace AOP which allows for no less than 100% of the grape varietal labeled to be used. The main grape varietals include Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris.
